Suchi and Vasuki coordinate a "home-run" of an event! After almost 1 year of planning, Vijaeth's munji goes off without a single hitch.

Friends and family from all over the world arrived at their house on June 4th and June 5th. On the morning of June 6th, the Purohit is escorted from the temple to their house. At 9-am sharp, the Upanyana began. Vijaeth wonderfully performed all the mantras and rituals, culminating in his donning of the "sacred thread" or Yugnopavit. He is then "fed" by his mother, for the last time as a "child".

After the ceremony, a wonderful catered lunch was enjoyed by all. After the meal, the friends and family from afar slowly departed. During the 3 brief days, everyone enjoyed the family get-together. We wish Vijaeth a long and prosperous life. May His divine being grace his life, and enlighten his intellect.
