It was the beginning of the new Spring season, and the Murthy siblings were getting together once again to have some fun. This time, the location was Jackson, MS in Padma's house.

Vasu drove from Vicksburg, MS (where he was attending a "Top Secret" conference).  Indira, Sripad, Sudhir, Ashwini and Tejas drove from Macon, GA.  Sapna, Surya, and Milan were visiting her parents from New Jersey.

The weekend was filled with a lot of fun conversations, and good eating.  Padma celebrated her birthday with all of us.  Tums and Gas-X was consumed excessively after each meal.  The 3 children had a lot of fun together.  Surya befriended Tejas, and was playing with him during the entire weekend.  I think they will miss each other's company.

We all went to a local park, where the kids played in the play-ground.  Many fun family pictures were taken for memory keepsake. The weekend seemed too short.  The anticipation of the weekend was a lot of fun, the weekend itself was much more than expected, but the drive home seemed all too long, longing for another get together.
